I chose the show Seinfeld because it's my favorite show. Not only that, it showed many instances of comedy throughout the series. Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Benece, George Costanza and Cosmo Kramer brought the true form of comedy in America. It has a purpose for comedy and it is to relieve the audience from depression or just have fun.
According to the New York Times, Seinfeld is still the most watched show in the New England area. Also, from the 1989 to 2000s it was the most popular show in America. In 2004, the TV Guide name Seinfeld the greatest television of all time. According to the USA Today newspaper, when people hear comedy, they automatically think of the show Seinfeld.

During the show, he and Jerry worked with NBC to produce a pilot episode of a TV Show called Jerry. During that time, he meets Susan Ross who works for NBC. George has an on and off relationship with her until she dies at the end of Season 7.

She is attractive, intelligent and assertive, while being l0ud, selfish and self - righteous. She is sometimes honest but that gets her in trouble. She gets caught up with her boyfriends' habits. She unknowingly picks the worst men to date and loses her cool easily. She works at Pendant Publishing with Mr. Lippman and later show works with the Peterman catalogue. One of Elaine's move is she screams "Get Out" when she recieves good or shocking news. The fourth main character is Kosmo Kramer (staring as Michael Richards). Kramer is Jerry's "wacky neighbor". His humorous trademarks include his hairstyle, his clothing and his energetic sliding bursts through Jerry's apartment door. At times, he appears naive and dense. He is long - time friends with Newman and they work well together despite their differences.
There are many characters that made several appearances, either as a friend or a relative like Newman and Uncle Leo. In addition, Seinfeld featured numerous celebrities who appeared as themselves or as girlfriends, boyfriends, bosses and othe acquaintances. Many of those who made "guest appearances became household names later in their careers", or were comedians and actors already well known for previous work. Many notable catchphrases in Seinfeld were "Yada, yada, yada", "No soup for you" and "Not that there's anything wrong with that".
